This shot was taken at the Cleveland Cavalier's practice gym, the team has just finished practice. When Robin walked into the gym, she saw the ball at the edge of the hallway. The person giving her the tour said, "Let me turn on the lights," and Robin quickly responded, "Stop!" The scene was so perfect, she wanted to capture it in the perfect light that was.
Robin traveled across America, traveling to 35 states, looking for unique basketball hoops and the childhood hoops of some of the most revered players of our time. She interviewed 31 players, 16 men and 15 women, including LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Sue Bird, Pat Summitt, Coach K, Kevin Durant , and many more. Jerry West wrote the forward.
